The TTC is a Tibetan Buddhist Centre of His Holiness, the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa Urgyen Trinley Dorje, in Hamburg, Germany. It belongs to the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
The purpose of this Centre is to offer to those interested the possibility of studying Tibetan Buddhism and practicing its meditations under the guidance of the resident teacher, Lama Tenpa Gyaltsen.
Additionally, it provides the appropriate setting for guest teachers to give courses and initiations.
The spiritual directors of the TTC are Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche and Ringu Tulku Rinpoche.
The regular guest teachers include Tai Situ Rinpoche, Ato Rinpoche, Tenga Rinpoche, Khenpo Tsultrim Gyatso Rinpoche, and Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche.
The TTC Hamburg is a member of the Karma Kagyu Association Germany, the adminstrative center of which, is the Kamalashila Institut
in Eifel. This Association also includes the Retreatcenter Halscheid (just
south of Cologne), as well as associate centers in Bremen, Berlin, Heidelberg,
Frankfurt/Main, Ganderkesee (near Delmenhorst) and Telgte (near Münster).On this Website, we would like to give an overview of our activities and courses.
